The mission of the Workgroup is to bring together a diverse coalition of stakeholders to work together to preserve and enhance water quality and stream resource quality in the East Branch DuPage River, West Branch DuPage River, Salt Creek and their tributaries.

WEST BRANCH DUPAGE RIVER

The West Branch DuPage River watershed encompasses 128 square miles of DuPage, Cook and Northern Will Counties. The main stem of the West Branch measures 34 linear miles in length.     READ MORE

SALT CREEK

The Salt Creek watershed encompasses 152 square miles of highly urbanized land in western Cook and eastern DuPage Counties. The main stem of Salt Creek is approximately 42 linear miles and has a rise of 225 feet.    READ MORE

The DRSCW is committed to producing comprehensive data sets for local watersheds in order to determine and resolve priority stressors to local aquatic systems. The organization seeks to implement targeted watershed activities that resolve priority water way problems efficiently and cost effectively.
